Follow wool from the sheep to the loom and weave a small piece yourself.
1 / 2
In Lazarat's homes, women have woven rugs, carpets and clothing from the village's sheep wool for generations. This experience shows you the whole journey of the wool.
See how the wool is washed and carded, spun on a distaff and dyed with natural plants. Then sit down at an old loom and learn the basics of weaving with help from an experienced weaver.
By the end you have woven a small piece with a traditional motif to take home.
