Terms of booking and sale

1.About these terms

This website is run by Visit Lazarat, Lazarat, Gjirokastër, Albania. Experiences are hosted by families of the village (hosts) and the shop sells products made by local artisans. When you book or order through this site, you agree to these terms.

2.Booking an experience

Some experiences are confirmed straight away when places are free. Others are requests: the host confirms each one personally, usually within 24 hours. The page tells you which it is before you book.

You get a booking code on screen when you book. We don't send emails: the host or our team contacts you by phone or email using the details you gave, so please check they're correct.

Tell us about allergies, health or accessibility needs in the special requests box, so the host can prepare.

3.Prices and payment

Prices are in Albanian lek (ALL), and everything is paid in lek. The amount in euros next to a price is only a guide, at the day’s exchange rate.

Prices are per person, or per group where a private group price is shown, and include what the page lists as included.

Bookings are paid by bank transfer or in cash, as agreed when the booking is confirmed. Shop orders are paid by bank transfer, writing the order code as the payment description, or in cash when you collect the order in Lazarat. An order paid by transfer is prepared once the payment has arrived.

4.Changes and cancellations

If you can't come or need another date, tell us as early as you can and we'll try to move your booking.

If a host has to cancel (for example because of bad weather or illness), we'll offer you another date or refund what you paid in full.

If you cancel, any refund depends on how much notice you give and on what the host has already prepared; we agree it with you when you write to us. Group and partner bookings follow their written agreement.

5.Shop orders and delivery

Items made to order take the time shown on the product page. Orders are delivered within Albania in 2–4 working days once ready; international shipping is quoted at checkout. You can also collect your order in Lazarat.

If something arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of receiving it and we'll replace it or refund you. Your rights under Albanian consumer protection law are not affected.

6.During the experience

Experiences take place in family homes, on farms and outdoors. Wear suitable clothes and shoes, follow the host’s instructions and keep children with you. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law.

7.Photos and texts

The photos and texts on this site belong to Visit Lazarat or the families shown. Please ask before you reuse them.
